The ATN Aries Z4-XR5 is the latest addition to the ATN pro-oriented, dedicated Night Vision Weapon Sight line. Dubbed "revolutionary" by experts, a prismatic "drop-down" design guides overall performance to new heights - improving light gathering by as much as 10% and enhancing the shooter's comfort by allowing closer to the barrel line of sight and cheek rest. Additional benefits include: always-on-the-center "Red on Green" illuminated Mil-Dot reticle, interchangeable Bullet Drop Compensator for five most common calibers, titanium mounting system, positive 1/8 MOA per click windage and elevation adjustment with standard target turrets, rails for add-on lights&lasers and back-up iron Sights making the ATN Aries Z4-XR5 unrivaled to anything on the Commercial or Military market today. Built-in monorail with Titanium inserts, and thumb-screws for tool-less mounting on NATO standard Picatinny Rail or quality Weaver bases, Water-Resistant, Fog proof and Nitrogen-Purged. Long-Range 450 mW detachable, adjustable in two axes and focus-able IR Illuminator, 1/8 MOA per click, with 700 clicks for windage and elevation, 7 revolutions with 100 clicks per revolution. Non-inverting DEP with up to 72 lp/mm and up to 24 SNR is available as the ATN Aries Z4-XR5. Prismatic optical design with highest grade heavy glass and all elements and surfaces are multi-coated. Optics are developed with latest optical software and manufactured with topmost tolerances. Reticle is Army Mil-Dot edged prismatic/optical glass sandwich and Illuminated with adjustable brightness and standard side locking mechanism. According to our customers this model performs comparable or better than 4x Raptor, 6x Raptor, AN/PVS-14, Elcan Blackcat Aquila, AN/PVS-17 or other far more expensive weapon-mounted solutions.

Image Quality With Night Vision

Image quality depends on lens design, glass grade, manufacturing tolerances and coating. In order to be in line with well-known premium optical producers we could not cut any corners. ATN lenses are made from the highest-grade optical glass. Our optical designs are calculated with the latest computer software available. We measure our optical tolerances to .0001". We then multi-coat our lenses with our own proprietary coatings that are specifically designed to allow for maximum light transmission.
 The ATN Professional series riflescopes are the only scopes in the world with the Everlight and Proshield Lens Coatings. We developed and formulated these two exclusive lens coatings specifically for the Professional series.
The revolutionary Everlight coating is designed to enhance the resolution and contrast of your image in extremely bright conditions. When there is too much light you will normally notice a degraded optical image, which is prevented by our Everlight coating. Some of the leading scope manufacturers have been installing less reliable mechanical aperture shutters to compensate for this problem
The Proshield coating is a mixture of anti-scratch, anti-condensation, anti-static and anti-glare coatings. In addition, a one-piece tubing and special seal makes the Professional series scopes truly durable and weather resistant.

ATN Exclusive "Smart Technology"

Smart Total Darkness Technology finally provides the user total control in the hi-tech industry of Night Vision. The Smart Series Night Vision Scopes have been designed according to the latest computer technology. This technology consists of a computerized proximity sensor, digital controls and a long-range Infrared Illuminator.
Onboard computer systems identify the users intention of looking through the scope. When the scope is brought to the user's eye, it automatically turns on. When removed from the eye, the scope turns off (you must engage the proximity sensor for this feature to work). The user will never have to worry about turning his or her scope on or off. Smart series scopes automatically sense when they are no longer used and will shut off and enter their sleep mode.
All the controls and buttons are digital. Even if your batteries are low, don't worry the Smart Series will let you know. Our smart scopes have a 3-button digital control panel that allows the user to easily engage the main power, Infrared Illuminator and the proximity sensor. Color coded LEDs let you know the mode of operation you are using.
The low battery indicator is another feature that is programmed into your "Smart" scope. If the batteries start losing voltage LED indicator will start to pulse, it is time to change your batteries.
